Size Chart & Measuring InstructionsStandard Size Chart (in inches)
Standard Size Chart (in centimeters)
Measurements In order to get the most precise fit for your gown, we recommend that you have a professional seamstress take your measurements, then compare them with our size chart. Most people’s measurements will not match the size chart exactly, so you should chose the size which your largest measurement falls within. If your measurements fall in between sizes, we strongly encourage you to order the larger size. If you are unable to have your measurements taken by a professional, see if you can have a friend assist you. Alterations are usually a necessary part of achieving the perfect fit on your dress. To find a good seamstress, look in your local yellow pages under "tailors", or “seamstresses”. Make sure to ask to see a sample of the work they have performed before they touch your dress. Our wedding gowns are of the highest quality, don't ruin them by having someone who does not have talent experiment on your wedding gown. Ask for recommendations from friends and family, or check out online reviews.
Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of the breast. The measuring tape should be snug, but not so snug that you have bulges. It is best to keep a fingers width of extra room in the measurement. For the most precise fit, try to wear the bra or undergarments that you will be wearing under the dress. Waist: This measurement should be taken at the smallest part of your waist. Typically, this measurement is located an inch or so above your belly button. It is best to keep a fingers width of extra room in the measurement. Hips: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips. It is best to keep a fingers width of extra room in the measurement. Hollow to Hem: Start the measuring tape at the hollow (base of your neck) and measure down to where you want the hem to fall (with shoes on). If your skirt will be full, be sure to measure out at an angle to allow for the fullness. Also, be sure you’re wearing the same height heel you will wear on your wedding day.
